Suspect reportedly attempts to steal neighbor’s motorcycle | Covington and Maple Valley Police Blotter

BURGLARY

• On Aug. 4 an unknown suspect broke into a home being remodeled and stole tools.

• On Aug. 11 officers responded to reports that a neighbor attempted to steal his neighbor’s motorcycle by entering their garage. According to the police report, the garage door was left open a bit for pets to come and go.

ROBBERY

• On Aug. 12 it was reported that an unknown suspect hit the victim and took his cell phone.

LARCENY

• On Aug. 9 officers responded to reports that an unknown female reportedly stole items from Kohl’s. The police report stated she left the store without paying and left them in her vehicle along with her purse before taking off on foot. She was later confronted by loss prevention.

• On Aug. 13 officers responded to reports that a male and female had reportedly stolen a box of hair extensions from Sally’s Beauty Supply.

VIOLATION OF COURT ORDERS

• On Aug. 14 it was reported that a male subject who has a protection order against him by his grandma was found hiding in his closet.

FRAUD

• On Aug. 5 it was reported that the victim turned in roughly $500 worth of coins to their bank to be deposited. The money was not deposited. The report stated this incident is being looked into.
