Winter storm warning with snow accumulations in Covington, Maple Valley and Black Diamond

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Western Washington forecasting snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.

Possible snow showers are forecast Thursday and Saturday with rain Sunday.

Low temperatures are predicted to be around 26 degrees tonight, Feb. 23.

The Kent School District cancelled all evening programs Wednesday, Feb. 23, and buses were on snow routes.
