From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on June 1 a benefit concert will be held for Ashton Grumbles. The concert will be held at the Anderson Barn located at 20245 Southeast 192nd Street in Renton, just outside Maple Valley. Tickets are $10 per person.
Grumbles was diagnosed with Smith-Lemli Opitz syndrome. People who have SLOS are unable to make enough cholesterol to support normal growth and development. He will experience poor growth and have developmental and mental delays. He also has a range of physical malformations. There are only approximately 500 diagnosed cases in the United States.
100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to help the Grumbles Family with ongoing medical and travel costs related to his medical care.
