Tami Henkel is a dedicated public servant who has a passion for schools and children in the Tahoma School District. Tami has a record of putting our children first while also being a fiscally responsible board member in her previous six years of experience. She brings a strong voice of advocacy for students in our system by being a leader on numerous committees including graduation requirements and boundary review. Her heart for education and making Tahoma the best that it can be is evident in her work and support for teachers also. She takes time to volunteer in the classrooms, support our community and school athletics and continues to grow as a board member by attending state conferences for board members. Tami Henkel is an asset to our Maple Valley community and our Tahoma School District and that is why the Tahoma Education Association is endorsing Tami Henkel for School Board Director Position No. 1.
