All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
LARCENY
• On May 28 officers responded to reports that a vehicle window was shattered to gain access. A laptop and the title to the vehicle were taken.
• On May 31 officers reported to Walmart for an attempted shoplifting. When officers arrived, the female subject was arrested and charged by investigation for third degree theft. The police report stated she was concealing cosmetics in her purse and intended to sell them to a third party for cash.
• On May 31 officers responded to Kohl’s for reports of a male subject switching out his old shoes for a pair of new ones. He was taken into custody for third degree theft and was released at the scene.
• On June 2 officers responded to Walmart to the report that a minor was attempting to steal a bottle of champagne. The police report also stated the minor appeared to be under the influence while in the store.
• On June 3 officers responded to reports that the front bumper of the victim’s vehicle had been taken while it was parked in her driveway. The police report also stated “DIE” had been keyed into the paint of the top of the trunk.
