Tahoma High to hold presentation of “Literature that inspires” Jan. 19

Tahoma High School's "Literature that inspires" class will hold a public viewing of short documentaries and presentations 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 in the school commons.

Tahoma High School’s “Literature that inspires” class will hold a public viewing of short documentaries and presentations 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 in the school commons.

Light snacks and healthy desserts will be provided by the Tahoma culinary class at 6:30 p.m.

It is requested to RSVP with Allison Agnew at aagnew@tahomasd.us or 425-413-6200 ext. 6377 in order to provide an accurate head count for refreshments.

The documentary topics include happiness, supporting the troops, domestic violence, depression, poverty and bullying.

While the event is free, it is asked that people bring items to donate for charity:

  • diapers, pull-ups, shampoo toothpaste
  • monetary donations
  • old tree/house lights that no longer work
