King County Sheriff’s Office police blotter May 5-10

All subjects in the police blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law

DRIVING

• A female was cited at 10:55 p.m. on May 10 for driving with a suspended license at Southeast 272nd Street and Highway 18.

• A DUI arrest was made at 2:06 p.m. on May 9 after a collision on the 16200 block of Southeast 272nd Street.

• An individual was booked for driving while suspended at 5:04 p.m. on May 5 after being pulled over for having a broken tail light at Southeast 272nd and 172nd Avenue Southeast.

OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER

• An individual living on the 20800 block of 17th Avenue South was arrested for obstructing an officer at 1:20 p.m. on May 6 after providing a false ID to a deputy.

LARCENY

• Shoplifting was reported at 5:26 p.m. on May 10 at Fred Meyers, 16735 SE 272nd St.

• A man with his 2-year-old grandson was arrested at 5:17 p.m. on May 10 for shoplifting at Walmart, 17432 SE 270th Place.

• An individual was arrested for theft at 3:53 p.m. on May 10 at Kohl’s, 17002 SE 270th Place.

• An individual was arrested for theft at 12:20 p.m. on May 9 after trespassing at Fred Meyers, 16735 SE 272nd St.

• Police received a report at 5:12 p.m. of two unknown juveniles receiving nail services from Silver Nail & Spa, 27116 167th Place SE, No. 112, and not paying.

FRAUD

• A male individual living on the 262000 block of 171st Place Southeast reported at 2:59 p.m. on May 9 that he’d been scammed out of $500 by another individual.

• Credit card fraud was reported at 12:18 p.m. on May 9 by an individual living on the 17500 block of SE 261st St.

• Counterfeit money was reported at 11:30 a.m. on May 9 at Auto Zone, 16783 SE 272nd St.

ASSAULT

• A road rage incident turned into an assault report at 2:15 p.m. on May 9 at the 21000 block of Southeast 256th Street.
