All aboard! It’s time for the annual Maple Valley Model Train Show, now in its 13th year, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 15-16 at the Gracie Hansen Building in Ravensdale.

Check out the train show exhibits of enthusiasts from all over Puget Sound, including an exhibit by the Black Diamond Historical Society on the early days of railroading in the Pacific Northwest. Bring your questions on the early days and learn more about what was in your neighborhood.

Kids are encouraged to build and bring their own LEGO train display before noon on Saturday for a chance at prizes. In addition, there will be interactive displays and experts to answer questions as well as door prizes.
