The YWCA Seattle|King|Snohomish will host a community open house 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 from at the Maple Hills Elementary School located at 15644 204th Avenue S.E., Renton.
This will be an opportunity for community members to meet their newest neighbor and learn about the many services the YWCA provides to more than 50,000 people each year. There will be an update on YWCA Passage Point, a supportive residential community for homeless single parents reentering the community and wanting to reunite with their children. Passage Point is scheduled to open in June 2011. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups to support the project and its future residents.
