The city of Covington annually recognizes two outstanding individuals that have made a significant impact on the city with the Citizen of the Year and the Honorary Citizen of the Year awards.

The city is currently accepting nominations for each through an online form at www.covingtonwa.gov/citizenawards.html.

Citizen nominees must live within Covington city limits. Honorary Citizen nominees may live outside Covington, but must have made a significant impact inside of Covington.
