The Lake Wilderness Arboretum Nursery annual spring plant sale is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday May 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday May 7.

The Lake Wilderness Nursery has been stocked with plant material for the Maple Valley. Our weather has been brutal these past couple of years with hard freezes early in December and heavy rain throughout the winter.  Many landscape plantings have suffered or died because of cold wet weather.  If this is something you are struggling with, please join us during our sale and talk with gardeners who struggle with these issues, too.

Let them show you plant material grown for our area.  Start our late spring planting season with the right plant, one that will thrive in the weather that it was grown in.

This year, our nursery will have a collectors table stocked with specially selected plants for the discerning gardener looking for something different. These plants include bog plants, Daphne, Fairy Bells and beautiful rare trilliums.

Besides a nursery full of great plants, the nursery also invites outside vendors to bring additional specialized plant material and garden art to provide our customers with a complete full service nursery experience.

Volunteers said the plants and the prices are great.
