Maple Valley fire department responds to accident with injuries Feb. 26

Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety firefighters and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident at 9 p.m. Friday Feb. 26 in the 25000 block of S.E. 224th Street.

At the scene firefighters found two vehicles with airbags deployed. Two people were treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital for treatment.

A utility pole was also damaged in the collision and power was disrupted in the area. Puget Sound Energy arrived to repair the broken pole and downed power lines.

Responding to the scene were aid 81, engine 81, battalion chief 81 and engine 85.
