The state Department of Transportation started paving work on state Route 169 between S.E. 264th Street and Witte Road.
The road work began Wednesday and will continue through Thursday night.
According to a release from the department, “crews will alternate traffic into one lane on SR 169 between S.E. 244th Street to SE 250th Street from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Crews will remove and repave broken concrete panels with new asphalt.”
The road work will continue along S.E. 264th and Witte Road through July. The department stated drivers should expect single-lane closures and limited side-street access from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Thursday until the work is completed.
