Driver and passenger cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia | Black Diamond Police Blotter

MARIJUANA: An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A routine record check showed the 38-year-old male had a suspended license. Additionally, a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Through investigation approximately 13 grams of marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia were found on both the driver and the 40-year-old male passenger. Both subjects were issued criminal citations and released from the scene.

  • DOMESTIC: 232nd Place Southeast. Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic violence call between a boyfriend and girlfriend who reside together at a residence. Upon arrival officers noticed both parties had separated, with one outside and the other inside the residence. Through investigation it was determined no crime had been committed. One party agreed to leave to keep any further incidents from occurring.

  • HUSBAND AND WIFE: A 911 hang up call brought officers to a residence on Lawson Street. Upon arrival officers observed a husband and wife in a verbal altercation. Through an investigation it was determined no crime had been committed. One party agreed to leave to keep any further incidents from occurring.
