Incident Of The Week:
Black Diamond Fire Department was called to a chimney fire around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday night.
Flames were visible from the chimney, chase, and attic when first in units arrived on scene. Firefighters were able to get water on the fire quickly and extinguish the fire before it spread to most of the home.
The fire was contained to the attic and chimney but the estimated cost was about $150,000.00 in damage.
There residents were able to escape with their animals without injury.
