Tahoma High student Kara Magee earns Presidents Scholarship from Eastern Washington University

Kara Magee of Maple Valley has been awarded $2,500 through the Presidents Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year at Eastern Washington University.

This scholarship is awarded to high school students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher or an SAT score of 1250 or higher.

Magee is set to graduate from Tahoma High School in 2011. She is involved in the Key Club, National Honors Society, Wind Ensemble and Pep Band. She is the daughter of Tracy and Stephen Magee of Maple Valley.
