Fire in trees near Spring Lake | Maple Valley Fire and LIfe Safety Fire Report

FIRE IN TREES: 18200 block of West Spring Lake Drive S.E. At 10:39 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, firefighters were dispatched to an unknown fire. People from across Spring Lake were first to report something on fire and that the fire was extending into the surrounding trees. Engine 81 responded and found a 5-by-5 foot pump house that had caught fire. The homeowner extinguished the fire in the trees prior to our arrival and firefighters extinguished the remainder of the fire. The cause was accidental.

ROLLOVER: State Route 18 and 244th Avenue S.E. ramp. Emergency medical personnel and firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle accident with injuries. at 6:36 p.m. Friday, May 21. Aid 81, engine 81 and a battalion chief responded and found a single car rollover accident. The vehicle was on its roof and both occupants had exited. The patients were evaluated and had no injuries. Evidence of fuel spilled along the off ramp prior to the accident may have been a contributing factor.
