I strongly endorse and encourage Maple Valley voters to join me in casting their vote for the re-election of Victoria Jonas to the Maple Valley City Council. I have served on the Maple Valley City Council for the past two years and have had the privilege of working with outstanding council members of which Victoria is one. Victoria understands the complexities of city government operations and has consistently demonstrated initiative and effective leadership which has kept our city responsive to citizen’s needs and moving us in the right direction.

Victoria has worked hard to foster local and regional partnerships to help Maple Valley be the best it can be, a safe and secure environment for our families with recreational, business and job opportunities for all. Victoria serves on a number of local and regional committees including Maple Valley’s Public Safety Oversight Committee (as chair), the Emergency Operations Committee, South King County Transportation Board, King County Flood District Advisory Board, King County Landmarks Commission, and the South End Area Regional Coalition for Housing.

Victoria has worked hard for our community which is reflective of her numerous endorsements from municipal, regional and state elected leaders. Due to Victoria’s ongoing community support of our first responders and educators, she has earned the endorsement of our police, our firefighters and our teachers.

As we move forward, Maple Valley will continue to face many complex challenges that require experienced, proven leadership to ensure that our long-term prosperity and quality of life continue. I believe the residents of Maple Valley deserve the best local government possible. Therefore, when I cast my vote this election cycle, I will be voting for the most qualified candidate hands down for City Council Position 6.

Experience matters in these difficult economic times. I will be casting my vote to re-elect Victoria Jonas and I hope you will consider doing the same.
