• Dec 4 — Friday — Community Tree Lighting. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m.

• Dec 4 — Friday — Community Tree Lighting. The festivities begin at 6:30 p.m.

• Dec 9 — Wednesday — Trip to the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle. Exhibits include “Essential Seattle,” photography from the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition, Bobo the Gorilla, The Arts and Crafts Movement in the Pacific Northwest, and many more. A $13 nonrefundable deposit (includes admission and van fee) required by 4 p.m. Friday, Dec 4. Bring a sack lunch. The community center van leaves at 9 a.m. and returns around 4 p.m.

• Dec 10 – Thursday – senior christmas pajama party. Party starts at 11 a.m., lunch served at noon. Be sure to wear your favorite Christmas pajamas to be eligible for the door prize.

• Dec 11 — Friday — The Sons of Italy meet here at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate their Italian heritage with a good meal.

• Dec 17 — Thursday — Santa will join us for the senior Christmas party with prime rib and all of the trimmings There will be Christmas carols and the Black Diamond dancers, led by Deana Ostgard, in their tutus to dance. Lunch is $3. There will be a gift exchange for seniors; please limit your gift to a $10. Please purchase your ticket by Monday the Dec. 14 as space is limited. Party starts at 10 a.m.
