ANGRY BIKER CHICK: 26800 block of 164th Avenue Southeast. A woman known as Sabrina allegedly knocked over some motorcycles causing damage to a pair of bikes.

BIKE THEFT: 17000 block of Southeast 272nd Street. A woman stole a bike from the alley behind the Covington Safeway and rode off on it.

ENABLER: 27100 block of 174th Place Southeast. A man admitted his friend had been using heroin in his car while parked near a business.

REMORSEFUL SHOPLIFTER: 16200 block of Southeast 256th Street. A ninth grader from Kentwood High was nabbed for shoplifting Starburst from Foss Market, telling the officer he “should have stayed on campus like he was supposed to.”

May 13

EMBEZZLEMENT: 27000 block of 185th Avenue Southeast. A Home Depot employee was caught stealing tools from the store. The merchandise was worth $3,368.49. The employee then turned around and sold the tools at construction sites.

SETTLED WITH A HANDSHAKE: 17300 block of Southeast 272nd Street. After getting into a fight in a parking lot and injuring one another both parties involved decided to settle their differences on a hand shake.

MAIL THEFT: 21700 block of Southeast 239th Street. Someone stole a Home Depot credit card out of a woman’s roadside mailbox then used the card to ring up charges at the home improvement store.

ATTEMPTED BREAK IN: 27500 block of State Route 169. Someone broke a front facing window at Pinnacle Physical Therapy. It was also discovered that someone attempted to pry open the rear door. It is unknown if the incidents are related.

BURGLARY: 25200 block of 235th Way Southeast. Burglars broke into a home in Lake Forest Estates by prying open the French doors of the formal living room then stole video games, computers and cash.

DRUNK DRIVER: 25000 block of Witte Road Southeast. A motorist crashed his truck while driving drunk then attempted to flee the scene when approached by police.

May 13

FORGED SCRIP: 22100 block of Southeast 237th Street. A suspect altered his prescription before submitting it to a Bartell’s pharmacist in an attempt to scam an extra 100 pills.

May 8

IDENTIFY THEFT: 26100 block of 221st Place Southeast. A Tahoma High student contacted the school resource officer to report that his identity had been stolen. The student’s social security number had been used by someone attempting to gain employment with a company in California.
