The Black Diamond Community Center will host the 18th annual Harvest Moon Dinner Auction. Saturday, Nov. 6.
Tickets are $35. Dinner will be prepared by local volunteer caterer Jude Irish and includes prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, roll, salad, dessert and coffee.
There is a silent and live auction.
Doors open for registration at 4 p.m.
This event is the center’s largest fundraiser of the year. The center is depends on the community to make it a success.
This year the center is raising funds for the emergency assistance program, which serves low-income families of Black Diamond, Enumclaw, Ravensdale, Maple Valley, Covington, Kent and Auburn. The center is asking for donations of collectibles and new items for the event, as well as large baskets. Drop off items Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Local auctioneer Walter Woodword will be wooing and entertaining the crowd in the live auction.
