The Maple Valley Parks and Recreation Commission will be touring the city’s park sites this Saturday, Feb. 7.

The commissioners will tour Henry’s Switch Park, 216th/276th St. Park, Elk Run Golf Course, Lake Wilderness Golf Course, and Summit Park. The commissioners are in the middle of discussions about what to do with a few of these park properties. At a previous meeting, they agreed that they needed to see the park sites in person to better understand the options before them.

The tour will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7 at Lake Wilderness Lodge.

The public is invited to attend the tour but will need to provide their own transportation to the various sites.
