Author J.A. Jance will discuss her latest book, “Damage Control,” during an appearance Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. at Covington Library.
In the book, the suspense-filled adventures of Cochise County Sheriff Joanna Brady continue as an elderly couple drives off a cliff in Coronado National Monument and a gruesome discovery awaits exposure by the subsiding rains of an ominous thunderstorm.
Jance’s appearance is free.
The library is at 27100 164th Ave. SE.
Another author appearance coming up at the library will feature Nancy Horan, author of “Loving Frank: A Novel.”
The author will speak and sign books at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 Books will be available for purchase from Baker Street Books.
The event is part of the Black Diamond, Covington, and Maple Valley libraries’ Read Together program.
