An evening of dance, music and poetry Dec. 8 and 9 | Maple Valley Creative Arts Center benefit

A benefit for the Maple Valley Creative Arts Center titled “An Evening of Dance, Poetry and Song” is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Dec. 8 and Dec. 9. The event was organized by poet Ed Corrigan and will feature local poets, a dancer/choreographer, an actress and musicians in performance.

Poets include Malorie Spreen, Chris McElroy and Ed Corrigan.

Dancer and choreographer Natalie Murphy, actress/reader/vocalist Becky Rappin

and musicians Michael Murphy, playing guitar and singing, and Carol Whitaker on flute,

will perform.
