The city of Maple Valley is recruiting members to serve on the Public Arts Commission. The duties of the commissioners include attending meetings and making recommendations to the city council on matters of the arts within the Maple Valley community. The commission meets quarterly the first Thursday of the quarter from 5-8 p.m., with occasional special meetings and workshops.
In order to qualify for this appointment, individuals must live within the corporate limits of the city of Maple Valley. The term of office for these positions is two years.
The deadline for consideration is Dec. 15 at 5 p.m. Applicant interviews will be scheduled shortly thereafter. Applications may be picked up at City Hall or accessed through the city’s website at www.maplevalleywa.gov.
