Two suspects robbed a Walmart employee with a knife while she was sitting in her car on a break from work. The suspects left without taking anything and the victim was not injured.

  • Oct. 17

    THEFT: 27200 block of 172nd Avenue Southeast. A woman left her wallet hidden under some items on the front seat of her car, which she left unlocked, before heading into the gym to work out. When she returned someone had entered her car and taken her wallet.

    ARMED ROBBERY: 16300 block of Southeast 260th Street. Three men robbed two victims on the street and, according to the police report, “used thread of violence to ensure compliance.” The police have tentatively identified the suspects.

    ROBBERY: 17400 block of Southeast 270th Place. Two suspects robbed a Walmart employee with a knife while she was sitting in her car on a break from work. The suspects left without taking anything and the victim was not injured.

  • ASSAULT: 18400 block of Southeast 264th Street. A man assaulted his girlfriend and during the incident armed himself with a handgun, a Tauras .380 automatic.

    OUT FOR A LONG WALK: 26700 block of 180th Avenue Southeast. A woman was contacted after she jaywalked and told the officer “she’s walking to Nebraska.”

  • Oct. 13

    LOOSE DOGS: 27100 block of 203rd Avenue Southeast. A trio of pit bull terriers escaped a fenced yard and attacked farm animals.

    ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: 19200 block of Southeast 269th Street. Someone attempted to break into a home by prying open rear sliding door with a pry bar or flat head screwdriver. The suspects were unable to gain entry but damaged the door’s lock in the process.

  • Oct. 18

    CAR THEFT: 21900 Southeast Wax Road. Someone stole a 1990 Honda Accord from a dirt parking lot near the Maple Crossing Apartments.

  • Oct. 16

    DRIVING DRUNK: Southeast 231st Street and state Route 18. After being stopped for speeding and following another vehicle too closely, a driver was then arrested for driving under the influence, and the vehicle was impounded.

  • Oct. 15

    ARMED: 23600 block of Southeast 267th Court. A disturbance occurred in a cul-de-sac after a suspect “cocks” then pointed a shotgun at someone who lives in the neighborhood. According to the police report, there were a number of neighbors including small children in the cul-de-sac, during this incident. The suspect fled with an associate shortly after the incident.

    THREATS: 23700 block of Southeast 264th Street. Someone sent a death threat letter via e-mail to a business.

  • Oct. 11

    ASSAULT: 26800 block of state Route 169. A man was attacked by four suspects while walking on the Cedar River trail near Lake Wilderness around 12:30 a.m. The victim had 17 stab wounds on his back, cuts on his neck and head, a broken nose and a concussion. The unknown suspects may have used a glass bottle or possibly a knife to inflict the wounds.
