The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra plans concert of appreciation for November

The Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra has plenty of reason to celebrate. In its short two years of existence, it has accomplished a great deal including growing from eight to over 60 students, becoming its own nonprofit organization and integrating itself into the fabric of the Maple Valley area by performing at community events like the Maple Valley Tree Lighting, playing at the Maple Valley Farmer’s Market, hosting a Waltz Gala Ball and accompanying the Fourth of July fireworks. Add to this year’s agenda playing the National Anthems at a Seattle Thunderbirds hockey game.
