At about 4 a.m. this morning, Oct. 15, Kent Fire Department, Renton Fire Department and King County Medic One emergency units responded to a forklift accident at a warehouse in the north end Kent.

The driver of the forklift was injured and trapped by a part of the forklift he was driving. Employees were able to quickly free him from the forklift. Kent Fire Department, Renton Fire Department and King County Medic One personnel treated and stabilized the man injuries. He was transported to a local hospital by King County Medics. His condition is unknown at this time. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the employer.
