Austin Voth of Kentwood, Nikole Weber of Kentlake, Sammii Jimenez and Derek Eager of Tahoma named Reporter Preps of the Week.

AUSTIN VOTH, Kentwood

Grade: Senior. Sport: Baseball.

Accomplishment: Voth was absolutely dominant, striking out 10 and allowing just one hit, leading Kentwood past Federal Way last week 9-1. Voth followed up the effort with three hits and three RBIs in a win over Kent-Meridian. Favorite class: Chemistry.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite (New York Yankees pitcher) A.J. Burnett and (Boston Red Sox pitcher) Josh Beckett. We would eat ravioli.

What is your greatest athletic moment: Throwing a no-hitter in a state championship game.

Most recent book read/author: “Splinter Cell Conviction” by Tom Clancy.

What’s on your iPod?: “Over” by Drake.

NIKOLE WEBER, Kentlake

Grade: Senior. Sport: Fastpitch. Accomplishment: Weber served up a complete-game gem, leading the Falcons past previously unbeaten Kentridge, 9-2.

Favorite class: Ceramics.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve: I would invite my boyfriend to dinner and serve Italian food and chocolate milk. Teammate Erika Smyth would probably join us unexpectedly and bring tacos.

Favorite movie: House Bunny.

Most recent book read/author: “Crime and Punishment” by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

What’s on your iPod?: “Ridin’ Solo” by Jason Derulo.

Also noted: Weber also is part of Kentlake’s ASB, where she is senior vice president. She will be attending Chapman University (Calif.) next year and will be playing fastpitch.

SAMMII JIMENEZ, Tahoma

Grade: Junior Sport: Fastpitch

Accomplishment: Jimenez threw complete game victories against Auburn Riverside and Kentlake, helping the Bears beat the Falcons for the first team in the program’s history.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite and what would you serve? I’d invite Justin Cloud and I’d serve my homemade chicken noodle soup and ganache cake.

What is your greatest athletic moment? Beating Kentlake and Auburn Riverside for the first time in Tahoma history.

What’s currently playing on your iPod? “Lil Freak” by Usher and Nicki Minaj.

Derek Eager, Tahoma

Grade: Senior Sport: Track and Field

Accomplishment: Eager set a new state record in the javelin at the Kent-Meridian Invitational last weekend, throwing it 218 feet, seven inches, and won all three events he entered.

If you could invite anyone in the world to dinner, whom would you invite, and what would you serve? Michael Jordan and all my friends and we would eat steak and lobster.

What is your greatest athletic moment? Throwing 218-7 and breaking the state record in javelin.

What’s currently playing on your iPod? “I’m a Go Getter” by Lil Wayne.

Also noted: Eager has a 3.73 grade point average and is currently ranked first in 4A in shot put, discus and javelin. He is also trying to make his mark after recovering from a broken leg during his junior season. Eager broke his leg during the regional wrestling tournament in February 2009.
